Post 25’s Memorial Day Weekend Events

Memorial Day weekend is here. It’s time for all of us to take time aside from our holiday activities and remember those who gave everything so that we can live FREE in the United States of America.

We invite you to join us on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 8 AM at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Lake Placid to place flags on the tombstones of our Vets. Oak Hill Cemetery is just off Route 27 in Lake Placid. This is the same road on which the new Amazon facility is being constructed. If you have never put American flags on the graves of Veterans, it is a solemn experience every patriot should experience. Coffee and donuts will be provided. Legion Post 25’s Mother’s Day Dinner: Moms Eat For FREE!

This Sunday, May 11, 2025, is Mother’s Day, and it’s time for Post 25’s Mother’s Day Dinner, FREE to all Moms!

Chef DeWayne will be providing Linguini with Clam Sauce and Beef Tips with Noodles. Post 25’s Ladies’ Auxiliary will provide dessert, and the Post 25 SONs will be serving. Dinner will be from 4:30 to 7 PM.
