Greetings! Last year’s Halloween Party was so much fun, we decided to DO IT AGAIN!

Entertainment: George Durham and Gwen

Time: 5:00 PMto 8:00 PM

Bring a dish to share!!

The kitchen will have food as well.

Prizes for best costumes!

Come on down for a great time with some fantastic music!

Post 25 Remembers 9/11

Lake Placid American Legion Post 25 had a solemn and wonderful morning on September 11, 2023. 9-11 Memorials are never a happy thing, they are reminders of our fellow citizens who gave all. We patriots will never forget and it’s up to us to keep that knowing alive.

This year was different for Post 25 in that we dedicated our beautiful new mural, painted by local mural artist, Keith Goodson. The mural project was launched by Sons of the American Legion Commander, Jake Gordon. So, it was appropriate that Keith and Jake “cut the ribbon” for Post 25’s “Honoring Veterans” mural. September 11, 2023 – A BIG DAY at Legion Post 25!

Monday, September 11, 2023, will be a day of solemn remembrance and thanks to our great Veterans and First Responders at Lake Placid Legion Post 25.

Beginning at 9 a.m. Commander Fred Pierce will preside over our annual 9-11 Remembrance for all those who lost their lives and America’s great First Responders.

9-11 is always a solemn occasion, as we all remember exactly where we were when we learned of the terrible news from New York City.

Immediately after the 9-11 commemoration, we will celebrate a happy event, the dedication of Post 25’s beautiful new mural, designed and painted by renowned local mural artist, Keith Goodson. Continue reading “September 11, 2023 – A BIG DAY at Legion Post 25!” →
