This Saturday night, American Legion Post 25 will kick off our Summer Rock and Roll shows.
The popular local band Raisin’ Cain will rock the house June 21, 2025, from 5-to-8 PM. Raisin Cain will perform Rock music from the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s.
It is summertime, it’s HOT, and it’s time to ROCK!
Meet “Raisin’ Cain”!
All of the band members grew up steeped in the music of the ’70s and ’80s. Raisin’ Cain typically performs almost every weekend. The band has been active for the past 13 years, since 2012, playing mostly locally in Highlands County and occasionally in the coastal areas.
From left-to-right, the Raisin’ Cain band members include: Steve Stutzman on keyboards; Jewels on vocals; Mike Tebo on lead guitar and vocals; Keith Barber on drums; and Eric Pardee on bass.
Combined, the members of Raisin’ Cain have been performing since the late ’70s.
Lead guitar player and vocalist, Mike Tebo, has played backup for Conway Twitty, the Beach Boys, Kitty Wells, Mo Bandy, and many others. Mike has also performed in a Neil Diamond Tribute band.
If you graduated from high school around 1972 (Where were YOU in 1972?), you are going to enjoy this. It’s not American Graffiti, it’s American Rock!

SPECIAL NOTE: Last week was the Florida State American Legion Convention in Orlando. Special classes were offered to the attendees covering all things American Legion. Meetings for the Legionaires, the SONs, Legion Riders, and Auxiliary covered updates, awards, the nomination of State officers, voting, and the swearing in of new State officers.
But the real juice of the event was the donations from American Legion Posts all over Florida. The donation tally for the entire state was $163,078.00.
Think about it. This is money that average Americans pulled out of their pockets to help all the good causes the American Legion Family works for.
America is arguably the most generous nation in the world.
