   Before we get into this week’s activities, there’s a correction to the March calendar.

The Auxiliary monthly meeting is Thursday, March 14, 2024 AT 5 PM. Auxiliary meetings are always on the 2nd Thursday of the month.

Monday, March 4, 2024 – Sons monthly meeting at 6 pm.$1 Draft Beers and $2 Bloody Marys.

Tuesday, March 5, 2024 – Taco Tuesday, 4:30-6:30, $1 Draft Beers, and $3 Margaritas.

Wednesday, March 6, 2024 – Wings Night & Salisbury Steak, 4:30-6:30 pm, and entertainment by Fred Ferguson 5-8 pm.

Thursday, March 7, 2024 – Post 25 Beautification Project: “Yard Party” outside cleanup, 8:30 to 10:30. Create-A-Pizza Night! 4:30-6:30 pm

Friday, March 8, 2024 – Prime Rib & Fish Fry 4:30-6:30, and entertainment by Randy Sullens 6-9 pm.

Saturday, March 9, 2024 – Lake Country Cruisers Car & Bike Show, 11 am to 1:30 pm, burgers from 12 noon to 2 pm.

The Auxiliary Luau Dance, 5-8 pm, and music by Dan Patrick. Tickets: $15 each and available at the Bar.

Sunday, March 10, 2024 – Jeff Muller will perform from 5-8 pm. Dinner To-Be-Announced and available at the Bar.

Queen of Hearts Update!

Our Queen of Hearts Jackpot has maxed out at $15,000! We will continue to run the existing board until SOMEBODY wins!

BBQ Roof Update!

If you have been out back you will have noticed that the new metal roof has been installed and looks 1000% better! What’s left to do is electrification for the exhaust fans and the winch for the big grate.

Our BBQ Roof Fund goal is $1,300 and we are now up to $700, just over halfway there! Thanks for all of your support. You can donate at the Bar.

Greetings Everyone!

The Post 25 March calendar is now available HERE!

Coming us this evening, the Post 25 Mess Hall will be serving up Prime Rib, Fish Fry, and our usual assortment of tasty appetizers!

Memories Dance will Rock the Oldies from 6 pm to 9 pm.

At 8 pm the lights will go up and we’ll give away $$$ with our 50/50 game and our Queen of Hearts game that now has a $15,000 jackpot!!! You gotta play to win! Someone has to win this eventually, IT COULD BE YOU!!!

YARD PARTY! Thursday, March 7, 2024 – 8:30 AM!

Greetings!

   There probably won’t be much cool weather left for this winter. Before you know it, it’ll be HOT again! So, we have a short window of opportunity to complete our backyard beautification project.

On Thursday, March 7 at 8:30 am. we will be getting together bright and early for another Yard Party. Post 25 will supply the coffee and donuts.

We have a lot of pickup and cleanup work, as well as trimming the overgrowth around the trees. Nothing challenging, but bring your work gloves and trimming tools.

As most of you have noticed, the backyard grille roof is completed, except for some electrical work. But the grille is working and it looks great!

Thanks to everyone who donated $$$ and their time!

When the Bar opens at 11 am, you can even get a Bloody Mary for breakfast, and raise a glass to Ernest Hemingway, the inventor of the Bloody Mary! Or was it Georgie Jessel who invented the Bloody Mary?

Mondays and Saturdays the Post 25 Bar has $2.00 Bloody Mary drinks. Order one and CLICK HERE to read the “Story of the Bloody Mary”.

And this Wednesday night the Post 25 Mess Hall will be serving up Chicken Wings and Salisbury Steak for dinner!
