Here’s what’s happening this week, August 12 to August 18, 2024, at American Legion Post 25, in beautiful Lake Placid, Florida!
Happy Hour: 3-5 pm; Monday to Sunday!
Dinner Schedule:
Friday – 4:30-7 PM, Fish Fry Dinner and Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf
Saturday – 12:00-2 PM, Burgers & Hot Dogs on the Grill
Activities & Entertainment:
Monday, August 12, 2024 – Shuffleboard at 2 pm, Chips Ahoy at 3 PM, Darts at 6 PM. Happy Hour 4-6 PM. The monthly E-Board Meeting is at 6 PM and the General Meeting at 7 PM. All Legion members are invited to the General Meeting. It’s a great way to see how the Post is run and what’s coming up.
Tuesday, August 13, 2024 – Euchre at 2 PM; Chips Ahoy at 3 PM; SAL Bingo at 6:30 PM; BINGO Hot Dogs from 2-6:30. Happy Hour 4-7 PM.
Wednesday, August 14, 2024 – Chips Ahoy at 3 PM. Cowboy will perform from 5-8 PM. Stroganoff Dinner 4:30 – 6 PM.
Thursday, August 15, 2024 – Poker at 2 pm; Chips Ahoy at 3 PM. Happy Hour 4-6 PM.
Friday, August 16, 2024 – Chips Ahoy at 3 pm. Happy Hour 4-6 PM. Fried Fish or Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf for dinner from 4:30 to 6:30; George & Gwen will perform from 6-9 PM.
Saturday, August 17, 2025 – Burgers & Dogs on the Grille, Noon to 2 PM. Chips A’Hoy & Texas Hold’em at 1 PM. ROADKILL from 3-5 PM. BIG FUN! WIN MEATS!
Sunday, August 18, 2024 – Chips Ahoy 3 PM. Sweet Baby Love will perform from 5-8 PM.

Post 25 has an agreement with Hartzell’s for 20, Rib Eye steaks a month beginning the 2nd Sunday of September and running through the 2nd Sunday of every month into the spring of 2025!
