Post 25 Needs Your Help!

Greetings,

The American Legion is founded on Volunteerism. We reasoned that the best way to recruit volunteers is to let everyone know what kinds of projects we need help with.

There will be four ways for everyone to know what we need help with: There will be whiteboards at the front entrance near the Queen of Hearts whiteboards and close to the kitchen counter; we will make announcements such as this.

And there will be a dedicated Volunteers’ Page accessible on the website sidebar and in the list of tabs at the top of the site as is viewed on a PC, or in the Menu bars if the site is viewed on a cell phone.

For now, here are a few volunteer projects and contact names.

PS – This Friday’s Queen of Hearts take-home is now up to $12,690!

Every week this board runs on, the better your odds are of winning. Tickets are available at the bar, this evening at one of the high-top tables in the bar, and Friday evening.

The drawing is at 8 pm!

Here is an overview of what’s coming up for the remainder of 2023!

Wednesday, December 20, 2023 – Wing Night with entertainment by Jeff Mueller from 5 pm to 8 pm.

Thursday, December 21, 2023 – Create A Pizza Night from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

Friday, December 22, 2023 – Prime Rib & Fish Fry with entertainment by Randy from 6 pm to 9 pm.

Saturday, December 23, 2023 – Corvette Car Show from 11 am to 2 pm, and burgers, hot dogs, & cheeseburgers, and dessert from 12 noon to 2 pm.

Sunday and Monday, December 24 & 25, CLOSED.

December 27, 2023 – Wing Night with entertainment by Michigan Music Man from 5 pm to 8 pm.

Thursday, December 28, 2023 – Create A Pizza Night from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

Friday, December 29, 2023 – Prime Rib and Fish Fry with entertainment by Tom Hanson. This will be Tom’s farewell performance. After many years in the entertainment business, Tom is retiring.

Saturday, December 30, 2023 – Burgers, Hot Dogs, & Cheese Burgers, and dessert from 12 noon to 2 pm.

Sunday, December 31, 2023 – New Year’s Eve Party!!!

Hors’ d oeuvres and Cocktail Hour 5:00 pm.

Rosemary Chicken or Roast Pork with fixings from 6 pm to 7:30 pm.

Entertainment by Jay Boree, 8 pm to Midnight.

A champagne toast to greet 2024 at midnight!

Tickets are $30 each or $50 per couple.
